2. TTSS (type III secretion system) and toxin for Vibrio vulnificus and TTSS (type III secretion system) for Vibrio parahaemolyticus.

- the virulence proteins in this Vibrio are related to type III secretion systems (effector proteins)
It would be interesting to target:
- type III secretion systems (effector proteins)
- same targets in Vibrio cholerae (if we have not targeted them yet)
Vibrio vulnificus:
- this Vibrio does not have type III secretion systems
It would be interesting to target:
- toxin related to the RtxA from Vibrio cholerae
- essential proteins (potential drug targets)
- we could also target the essential proteins that we have targeted in Vibrio cholerae but that have failed so far
- we could look at the list of essential proteins targeted in Vibrio cholerae, remove the targets that have been successful, and of the unsuccessful targets pick the homologs in Vibrio vulnificus and parahaemolyticus
