Annotation

Description
Sor operon regulator SorC is transcriptional regulator which controls the expression of proteins involved in the metabolism of L-sorbose. The structure includes residues 51 – 315 without the DNA binding domain (DBD) and superposes well with the effector binding domin of central glycolytic gene regulator (GGR) (2okg) from B. subtilis including the glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate binding pocket for GGR.
