Annotation

Description
The mouse monoclonal antibody, ZV-2, is specific for Zika virus. It does not cross-react to West Nile virus, Japanese encephalitis virus, or Dengue virus types -1, -2, -3, or -4. It recognizes a unique patch in domain III (DIII) of the Zika envelope protein that falls within the beta-sheet comprised of the ABDE strands. ZV-2 is an IgG2c isotype antibody that poorly neutralizes common African, American, and Asian Zika virus strains.
