Annotation

Description
Beta-lactamases, produced by some bacteria, are responsible for the resistance to the bata-lactam antibiotics such as penicillins, cephamycins, and carbapennems. The beta-latamse from Francisella tularensis is a class A lactamase with all catalytic residues (SXXK, SXN, KTG) in the three regions involved in catalysis are conserved in the same location of the binding site.
