Annotation

Description
SrtA from Actinomyces oris is class E sortase. Sortases modify surface proteins by recognizing and cleaving a carboxyl-terminal sorting signal. They are important proteins for pathogenic bacteria The sortases are thought to be good targets for new antibiotics.
