Annotation

Description
Powassan virus (POWV) is an emerging tick-transmitted flavivirus that causes severe or fatal neuroinvasive disease in humans. The antibody POWV-80 binds domain III (DIII) of the POWV envelope protein with high affinity and potentially neutralizes several tick-borne flaviviruses in addition to POWV, including Langat and tick-borne encephalitis virus. This structure defines the footprint of POWV-80 on the POWV DIII domain.
